BLUETOOTH AUDIO
Bluetooth 4.0 for wireless connectivity to audio devices to enhance user experience.
PSEUDO TRUNKING
Using pseudo-trunking, Hytera’s patented technology, the slots can be shared to increase capacity utilization by transmitting either directly to the handset or to the repeater.
XPT
Hytera XPT (Extended Pseudo Trunking) allows you to use limited spectrum resources more efficiently, dynamically assigning channel resources without the need for dedicated control channels.
FULL DUPLEX CALLS
Have a conversation in a call instead of classic one-way transmission (DMR Tier III mode only)
VOICE RECORDING
Record your call transmission and data for future analysis. Requires a separate micro SD card and app for playback, a license fee may apply.
SINGLE FREQUENCY REPEATER
Utilize your PD985 radio as a repeater to increase reach across your site (fees apply)
DOWN MAN
Optionally (PD985G only), the man down feature will notify you if the radio has been tilted beyond a certain angle. This can happen, for example, if a radio user falls or becomes unconscious or injured. The alarm will be triggered after the alert is given to the user.
OWN WORKER
The single worker feature uses a timer on the radio to measure inactivity. If the timer expires, an alert is issued, and if there is no response to it, an alarm is triggered.
EMERGENCY MODE
Raise an alarm with top priority to a base station or to another radio with a pre-programmed emergency mode, identifying the ID of the person issuing the alarm. Also receive emergency notifications.
GPS
Optional (PD985G only), enables location-based services for increased security and control.
