Hanna offers five sugar refractometers to meet the requirements of the food industry. The HI-96800 Refractive Index/Brix, HI-96801 % Brix (sucrose), HI-96802 Fructose, Hi-96803 Glucose, and HI-96804 Invert Sugar digital refractometers are rugged, portable and water-resistant for measurements in the lab or field.
The refractive index of the sample is converted to % mass (%w/w) concentration units.
The HI-98604 is used across the food industry for measuring the % invert sugar in foods.
Quick and easy to use it is ideal for analysing the sugar content in a wide range of food products including fruit, energy drinks, puddings, tofu, jams, honey, soups and sauces.
Priced inexpensively does not mean a compromise on accuracy, the Hanna refractometer offers all the benefits of high precision digital technology at the same price as a mechanical model.
The HI-96804 measures the refractive index to determine the % invert sugar in aqueous solutions. The refractive index of the sample is then converted to % by weight concentration units.
