The ST2016 Earth Ground Tester is a rugged, easy to use tester for three-pole, two-pole resistance measurements and soil Resistivity.
Earth Ground resistance is measured by installing Earth Ground test electrodes and testing with the ST2016 Earth Ground resistance measurements are used to ensure safe operation and reduce power quality problems. The ST2016 is extremely lightweight making it ideal to test for lightning protection levels and periodic check-ups during routine maintenance.

• Test resolution of 0.003Ω on 200kΩ range
• Advanced Filtering method (based on FFT Fast Fourier Transform) reduces noise interference for obtaining stable measurements.
• Automatic and Manual selection of the Test Current Frequency in four bands (94/105/111/128Hz). In Automatic mode, ST 4106 will select the most suitable Frequency. Several sub-results can be shown on the display: Resistance of the Auxiliary Earth Spikes, Frequency of Test Current, Voltage and Frequency of Interference (noise), Residual Resistance Rk, etc.
• Warning for excessive noise and high Auxiliary Earth Spikes resistance.
• Large Graphic Display with backlight for readings in poorly illuminated areas.
• Up to 999 measurement results can be saved in the memory and recalled on the display.
• The stored results can be transferred to a PC using software and a USB adaptor which are not included.

Earth Resistivity Measurement

• Earth resistivity measurement is automatically calculated after having set the distance between Auxiliary Earth Spikes.

Software

• The stored results can be transferred to a PC via USB adaptor.
• Up to 999 measurement results can be saved in memory.
• Data can be converted to CSV files.
