The Alinco DR-MD500 Radio Rig has dual band frequencies, VHF 136-174 MHz and UHF 400-480 MHz.
LCD Full Color
With a 1.77 inch Full Color LCD, the Alinco DR-MD500 car radio operates in both analog and digital modes of Tier I and Tier II DMR radio.
Dual Band Frequency
This mobile base radio works on the VHF band 136-174 MHz, output power 55W, and the UHF band 400-480 MHz 40W
Analog and Digital Modes
The DR-MD500 supports both analog and digital modes, providing unmatched flexibility and capability.
DMR Tier I and Tier II
This radio also supports DMR Tier I and Tier II, enabling efficient two-way communications in trunked or conventional radio systems.
Alinco DR-MD500 Cross-band Repeater
This feature allows the use of this radio as a repeater, extending the communication range and ensuring a stable connection, especially in emergency situations.
Memory Capacity
The Alinco DR-MD500 boasts an impressive memory capacity of 4,000 channels, 250 zones, and 250 scan lists. It also has a digital contact list of up to 300,000 contacts.

Preset Digital Encryption Code
The Alinco DR-MD500 also comes with preset digital encryption codes that provide an additional layer of security for user communications.
