The Icom IC-2730A RIG Radio is an easy to use dual band RIG Radio with simultaneous reception as a 50 Watt RF output on VHF and UHF. Separate tuning, volume and squelch knobs, as well as basic control buttons, on each side of the radio, allow you to have quick and precise control over your radio without taking your eyes off the road.

One-Time Receipt
The Icom IC-2730A supports dual reception capabilities on VHF/VHF, UHF/UHF, and combined VHF/UHF frequencies.
Headset Bluetooth® VS-3
With the optional VS-3 Bluetooth® headset (with the optional UT-133/A unit), you can control this radio rig wirelessly. The headset is equipped with three program buttons and a PTT ( Push To Talk ) button. The VOX feature is also available for hands-free communication.
Big Screen
This dual-band radio rig features an LCD screen 1.5 times larger than its predecessor, the IC-2720H. Frequency displays and channel names are easier to read.
Easy Installation
The combination of the MBF-1 magnetic bracket and the MBA-5 bracket allows for easy installation. Installation and removal are also simple.
High Power Output
Next, this Icom radio rig produces transmission power of up to 50 watts.
50 Nothing CTCSS and 104 Nothing DTCS
The IC-2730A also features 50 CTCSS tones and 104 DTCS tones. This feature is useful for maintaining quiet communication during standby and for access to repeaters.
Controller Integration into Main Unit
Using the MBA-4 bracket, the controller can be attached to the main unit. This dual-band radio rig also has microphone jacks on both units.
Wide Frequency
This radio covers the VHF 118–174 MHz and UHF 375–550 MHz frequencies.
Noise-Cancelling Microphone
This radio rig microphone has an active noise canceling feature that automatically reduces noisy surrounding sounds.

- CI-V remote control (via OPC-478UC) to connect the IC-2730A to a computer for full control.
