This airband radio features an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display with clear, high-contrast images, even in low-light conditions. The wide 180° field of view allows pilots to clearly see information from various positions.

The buttons on the front panel are made large and easy to press, especially the FLIP-FLOP button which is often used to change frequencies.

All buttons and knobs are backlit in white that blends in with the OLED display.

• TSO/ETSO Certification for General Aviation 

This TSO version of Icom’s original ariband radio meets the standards set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and can be used as the primary VHF radio on Part 23 compliant general aviation aircraft.
