Tiga Command Head™/Commandmic™
All IC-M605 functions (including DSC emergency calls and emergency operations) can be remotely controlled by up to three devices, namely: RC-M600 COMMAND HEAD™ and HM-195 series COMMANDMIC™.
4.3 Inch Color LCD Screen
A first in its class, this color LCD display offers a nearly 180 ° viewing angle . The 4.3-inch display displays high-resolution characters and function icons. Night mode provides optimal brightness for comfortable use in dark conditions.
Receiver AIS*
*With an AIS receiver connected, this marine radio can display live AIS vessel traffic information on the screen. You can directly place individual DSC calls to selected AIS targets via the AIS display.
*Optional UX-251 AIS receiver unit required, depending on version.
Easy to Use
The combination of directional buttons and buttons makes it easy to use. Frequently used functions are located on soft keys (at the bottom of the screen) for quick, one-touch access. A large ten-digit numeric keypad is used to enter channel numbers, MMSI numbers, and ID names.

Active Noise Cancelling

The last call recording function automatically saves up to two minutes of incoming calls. This way, you won’t miss any important messages.
Private Conversation
With the optional UT-112 voice scrambler, this marine VHF radio provides 32-tone encryption for secure conversations. This feature is especially useful if you need to share confidential information with other vessels.
Clear Sound Quality
This marine radio’s built-in speaker improves call quality. The waterproof, paper-cone speaker delivers superior sound quality with a wide frequency range and flat frequency response.
30W Two-Way Hailer & Automatic Horn
When connected to the optional SP-37 speaker, you can communicate with crew on deck or ashore via the radio microphone and hear their responses through the speaker. It also features an RX hailer function and four automatic horn patterns.
NMEA 2000™, NMEA 0183/-HS
Through NMEA 2000™ connectivity, this original Icom marine radio can exchange GNSS data, AIS reports, DSC call information, radio frequencies, and PGN lists with other devices on the network. NMEA 0183/-HS GNSS position data can also be converted to NMEA 2000™ data for use by other equipment.

- The HM-205RB microphone speaker can be connected to the rear panel of the IC-M605 so you can use it as an external speaker to improve sound quality.
