The Icom IC-M803 is a marine MF/HF radio for long-range communications on medium and high frequencies. This SSB radio supports DSC (Digital Selective Calling), is equipped with built-in GPS, and can transmit and receive signals up to thousands of kilometers.

Distress Button for Emergency
In an emergency, press the Distress button to automatically send a digital distress signal. This distress signal includes GPS coordinates and will summon assistance from other vessels or the nearest shore station.
DSC Receiver with Multi-Task Mode
The DSC watch-keeping receiver continuously scans six emergency channels in turn. Up to 100 MMSI numbers (75 individual and 25 group) for DSC calls can be stored with ID names of up to 10 characters.
If receiving a DSC call while handling another DSC call, this Icom SSB radio can hold both DSC procedures and switch between the calls using the Multiple Task Mode function.
Easy to Understand Screen Display
The combination of a large main knob and soft keys at the bottom of the screen for easy use and quick access to frequently used functions.
You can easily enter channel numbers, MMSI numbers, and vessel names using the alphanumeric keypad. Additionally, one of the softkey functions can be programmed to the microphone button for quick access.
Icom IC-M803 Large Screen
This SSB radio ‘s 4.3-inch TFT color display offers a nearly 180-degree viewing angle. Information remains clearly visible from various angles, allowing for seamless installation. A night mode is also available for ease of use in low-light areas.
GPS
The GPS on this HF radio supports GPS, GLONASS, and SBAS functions connected directly to the radio. Position, heading, speed, and time data can be received via a connection to the GPS antenna. This position data can also be output via the NMEA 0183 port for use with other devices.
Two Minute Instant Recording Memory
The Instant Replay function automatically saves received calls. You can replay them to avoid missing important calls.
Digital RF System with Direct Sampling
The IC-M803 uses the latest digital signal processing system called RF Direct Sampling . This technology significantly improves receiver sensitivity and sound clarity compared to conventional radio systems.
Ready for HF E-mail Operations
This ship’s radio can be programmed to store your HF email access frequencies, with mode and bandwidth settings for dedicated email channels. Up to 160 email frequency channels can be stored, and connection terminals for computers and email modems are available.
AIS Connected DSC Class D VHF Radio
Next, this HF radio is designed as a companion to the Icom IC-M605 VHF radio rig . The front panel layout, color TFT display, and screen are similar.
Power Output Icom IC-M803 Besar
The IC-M803 can produce a power output of 150 watts (PEP) for long-distance communication at high frequency (HF).
Automatic Antenna Tuner (Optional)
This marine radio can also be used with the AT-140 model automatic antenna tuner (sold separately) for automatic radio signal optimization.

Made with an IPX7 rating , this marine radio is waterproof and can survive in water up to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes.
Continuous Receiver Coverage 0.5–29.999 MHz
In addition, this Icom marine radio can receive radio signals continuously in the frequency range of 0.5-29.999 MHz for signal reception in various situations.
Input/Output Data NMEA 0183 Versi 4.10
Lastly, this marine radio supports data input and output via the NMEA 0183 protocol version 4.10 with transmission speeds between 4800-38400 bps.
