The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare’s Water Quality Standards stipulate that the turbidity and color of tap water, bathtub water, swimming pool water, etc. should be measured and the water quality should be managed appropriately. In addition, the need for measuring turbidity and color has increased in quality control and various fields.
This turbidity and color meter TCR-5Z can simultaneously measure the turbidity and color of various waters with a probe-type detector separated from the meter. Furthermore, the detector uses a double-beam optical sensor, so there is almost no effect of turbidity on color measurement.
This device uses a transmitted light measurement method (absorption photometry) that complies with the inspection method stipulated in the drinking water test method, industrial water test method, and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare’s water quality standard ordinance, but there is no need to create a calibration curve, and it can easily measure turbidity and color from 0.0 to 50.0 degrees on site with high sensitivity.
