MITECH MXT-1600 Portable Belt Flaw Detector

Mitech MXT series portable belt flaw detector, based on short wave radiography principle, use flat-type image intensifier, built-in high-voltage generator and SD memory card to achieve a convenient belt non-destructive testing and data storage records. Its performance is stable, high sensitivity, clear imaging and easy operation, with real-time imaging, camera storage and other functions. Effective for coal mining enterprises mining equipment (belt) testing, it is a professional non-destructive testing equipment to save production costs, eliminate the necessary hidden dangers.

Working Principle

The portable belt flaw detector is a new generation of short-wave radiation detection equipment in Mitech.Which is generated by the built-in high-voltage emission device short-wave radiation (spectrally similar to the natural X-ray),through the collimator to limit the emission beam, penetrate the measured belt into the short-wave radiation sensitive flat-type image intensifier,The use of different density substances on the short-wave radiation absorption rate is different from the steel cord and the belt inside and outside the defects of abnormal imaging on the image intensifier screen, and then converted into a visible view of the belt to achieve the nondestructive testing of the belt.

Instrument Maintenance

• Please insert batteries or connect the power supply under close inspection work patterns, to avoid damaging the instrument;
• Before use, the separation of the protective plate should be installed,When operating, the hand is strictly prohibited than the shield screen extension line;
• Please avoid continuous testing for a long time, usually 1 minute to stop testing for three minutes rest, and shut down after the shutdown time to 5 seconds or more, to avoid high pressure accumulation, resulting in man-made equipment failure;
• When using,if you find crescent-shaped defects in the image , there are oil in the aluminum box or other abnormalities, you should immediately stop using, and contact the manufacturer;
• After use,please put the instrument in the aluminum box to reserve;
• When using and storage,should pay attention to waterproof, so as to avoid circuit failure, affecting the normal use;
• Test the instrument for periodic leak detection and if found that excessive leakage of radiation should stop using;
• The maintenance of the tube or image intensifier are required to return to the factory, if user does self-maintenance, the company will not be responsible for the safety of instrument radiation;
• The instrument should be regularly cleaned and maintained, can be dipped in a small amount of alcohol wipe;
