AR924M uses electromagnetic fields to detect the resistance of hidden metal objects. It can be used to detect objects that contain metal, such as weapons, jewelry that contain iron, silver, gold, aluminum, copper, brass, etc. It is popularly used in underground metal detection, archaeology, security inspections at airports, etc.

An Underground Metal Detector is an electronic instrument which detects the presence of metal nearby. Underground metal detectors are useful for finding metal inclusions hidden within objects, or metal objects buried underground.
