Thuraya MCD Voyager is a ‘Mobile Communications Device’ that delivers superior mobility without sacrificing connectivity. MCD Voyager integrates the high-performance Thuraya IP Voyager into a rugged, auto-pointing, self-contained satellite broadband terminal.
Thuraya MCD Voyager comes with a click and go feature. Operated with a single button, the device connects to the Thuraya network and automatically creates a Wi-Fi internet hotspot for any wireless device within a 100-meter range.
Designed to be operated by anyone, with no training or certification required, the Thuraya MCD Voyager terminal offers IP broadband speeds of up to 444kbps, at rest or on the move.

No pointing or aiming required, the MCD Voyager is Thuraya’s auto-pointing satellite terminal that allows users to connect online in less than a minute by creating a powerful Wi-Fi hotspot that can be accessed by any wireless device within a 100-meter range.

Ideal for on-the-go operations that require fast response: simply place the Thuraya MCD Voyager under the open sky, on a rock, and turn it on.
Durable And Reliable
Encased in a waterproof, impact-resistant and dust-proof plastic case, the Thuraya MCD Voyager operates in extreme environments from -25°C to +70°C (-13°F to 158°F). It works in heavy rain and ice up to 20 mm thick. This case is designed to be fully functional even when the lid is closed. Environmentally rated IP66, immune to water jets from all directions. Thuraya MCD Voyager operates for up to 5 hours on the internal battery, or continuously if a power source is available.
High Speed Streaming Capability
Offering speeds of up to 444kbps, the Thuraya MCD Voyager is the only terminal on the market capable of achieving IP streaming speeds of up to 384kbps.
Asymmetric Streaming
The Thuraya MCD Voyager can be configured to allow users to set upload and download speeds to suit their usage and ensure significant savings. Thuraya is the first mobile satellite service operator to provide asymmetric streaming capabilities for its broadband devices.
